Health Services - Inver Hills Community College

Staffed by a registered nurse Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays; a Doctor or Physician's Assistant (PA) are available every other week for appointments. Health Service staff believe that good health care requires more than just treatment; we emphasize prevention, education and participation. Available health services: - Blood pressure screening - HIV/AIDS counseling - First aid - Mental health care - Nutrition counseling - Physical exams - Pregnancy and STD testing and counseling - Reproductive health, gynecological services and contraception counseling and referral - Tuberculosis testing, Vaccine titers and Flu Vaccine Administration - Wellness issues - Stress management - Substance abuse counseling

Fee

Appointments are free. Cost for prescriptions is dependent on medication. Help is provided for finding low cost prescription options. Cost is subsidized by student health service fee included in cost of tuition/fees for all registered students. No insurance required. No one denied service due to inability to pay.
