Collaborative effort with Family Services Rochester, the Women's Shelter, and Olmsted County Child and Family Services. - Children's Domestic Violence Education and Support Group: Serves children of all ages who have been impacted by domestic violence. Children may attend with a female parent/caregiver. Through discussions, art and creative play, children ages 5 and older explore a variety of issues. Children learn about domestic violence, how to be safe, not to take on the responsibility of the behavior of others, and self-care. - Women's Domestic Violence Group: Serves women who have been impacted by domestic violence. Through curriculum and guided discussions, women explore a variety of related issues. Women have education and support to be safe from violence. Childcare is provided for children under age 5. Groups are offered in English and Spanish. Groups meet in conjunction. Women and children are provided a light meal before groups begin. Transportation assistance available.
