Health and Wellness Programs - Centro Tyrone Guzman

Provides a diverse range of wellness programs that provide a continuum of care in a culturally affirming environment. Programs are designed to provide tools and resources to Latinos of all ages and engage them in shifting behaviors and accessing resources to support optimal health. - Referrals to medical clinics, health education, exercise, educational workshops and resources for new and expecting mothers - Assists families with navigating health systems and educates them on how to access health care. - Diabetes prevention program (El Reto) focuses on lifestyle changes by introducing healthy food and how to introduce the food to their families. Engaging families to be active by participating in aerobics and other exercises.
