Housing Advocacy and Support Services - Arc Northland

Assists eligible individuals with disabilities in achieving housing goals and independence through different housing programs. Housing Access Services (HAS): Provides housing assistance to people who have a disability and are receiving Medical Assistance (MA) benefits. Assists with the housing search and can assist with financial needs related to the move when applicable. Housing Stabilization Services (HSS): Housing services for Medical Assistance (MA) recipients who have a disability and are experiencing housing instability. The program assists with finding independent housing and provides ongoing support to help sustain housing.

Referral/release form must be signed by a social worker or ARMHS worker, depending on the home care that they will be eligible for to determine eligibility for services

Eligibility

- Adult Minnesota residents who have been assessed and determined to be eligible for Minnesota Medicaid home care or waiver services and who want to move to homes of their own. - Serves Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, Pine, and Saint Louis counties
