Volunteer United - Greater Twin Cities United Way

A volunteer connection service that allows individuals to get connected to opportunities to build a strong community. Volunteers help nonprofits achieve their mission and make a lasting difference. The Volunteer United website has hundreds of volunteer opportunities to choose from, allowing individuals to select a cause that they are passionate about. The service matches people to volunteer projects with United Way partners across the nine-county metro area. United Way hosts community-wide volunteer projects in the greater Twin Cities area.

Greater Twin Cities United Way works to build pathways towards prosperity and equity for all. Focuses on root causes of poverty by increasing access to stable housing, healthy food, a strong education, and wealth-building jobs. Accomplishes these goals by grant-making and fundraising; advocacy and coalition building; volunteer engagement; nonprofit leadership support and capacity building; and by operating the 211 resource helpline.
