Provides nutrition education and special foods which promote good health for pregnant, breastfeeding, and post-partum women with infants and/or children up to age 5. WIC provides the following services:
  • Assistance with any special needs
  • Health assessment and screening
  • Nutrition education
  • Referral to other community services
Vouchers are given to participants to purchase nutritious foods such as cereal, cheese, eggs, infant formula, fruits and vegetables, milk, and peanut butter.
