Program Fees
Companions offer assistance with daily activities and appointments, a link to the community and an opportunity for friendship. Customized, weekly visits ensure: - An ongoing resource, advocate and friend who helps the individual stay independent and healthy - Assistance with correspondence, such as paying bills - Help with simple household tasks - Reliable transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping and errands During visits, support is provided at home, and transportation is provided to activities in the community. Service includes 20 miles of travel per week or 1,000 miles per year, and individuals may choose to purchase additional mileage.
