Older adults 50 and older who are experiencing problems due to the use of alcohol, pharmaceuticals, or over-the-counter medications. Assessments are available for any age. Serves Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, and Washington counties.

Description

A program for older adults age 50 and over needing outpatient chemical dependency treatment. A combination of recovery programs and outpatient treatment services, as well as aftercare. Service includes: - Education and consultation - Free transportation to and from SRC services within a 15-mile radius - Individual and group counseling - Leisure time activities - Outpatient chemical dependency treatment for seniors - Referrals - Support groups: AA & Al-anon, aftercare, crafts, Health and Wellness group, relapse group - Will do assessments for all ages
