Teenage Parent Program - Early Head Start - Kootasca Community Action
- Provides as alternative educational setting for pregnant and parenting teens. - TAPP meets every Monday and Tuesday during the school year, at the Itasca Resource Center, for classes. - TAPP students are enrolled at the Alternative Learning Center, in Grand Rapids, on Tuesday during the school year or return to the traditional school setting at their respective area High Schools for the remainder of the week. - Children of TAPP students are enrolled in Early Head Start and attend in the purple room at the Itasca Resource Center on Monday or Tuesday throughout the Academic year. - Teen Parents may earn hours of credit towards their high school diploma by attending and actively participating in the classes.
