Eligibility

- Individuals who are pregnant, nursing, or a family with a child age 5 and under who would like nutrition information and some assistance buying nutritious foods and are residents of Carlton County - Families may qualify based on income level or participation in other programs (i.e. MA., MFIP, SNAP, SSI, Fuel Assistance, or Head Start)

Description

- A free nutrition and health assessment program that provides supplemental food vouchers for use at many grocery stores - Purpose is to promote good health for pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age 5 - Provides referrals to health and social services and certified lactation consultation
