Crisis Response Team - Dodge and Olmsted Community Corrections

A collaboration effort within Olmsted County's Health, Housing, and Human Services division, in partnership with the Rochester Police Department and Olmsted County Sheriff's Office. Provides services that address public health concerns including mental health, poverty, and substance use. Community outreach specialist may provide residents with resources to address their needs, making the appropriate referrals, and follow up with them and their providers to ensure their needs were met and properly addressed. When to call for immediate crisis response: - Barriers to accessing resources - Homelessness/vagrancy - Impaired cognitive functioning - Severe mental illness episode - Substance use concerns - Youth experiencing a crisis
