Application process

  • Thrift Store: Call; walk in
  • Voucher Program: A caseworker must complete the referral form on the website and will be granted access to the Voucher Program Registration to gather basic demographic details. Once submitted, a Basic Needs staff member will reach out to the referred family to schedule an intake appointment. If eligible, the individual will receive a one-time-use voucher, valid for up to nine months, based on assessed need.

Items accepted as donations and sold include: - Blankets, quilts, bedspreads, linens, and towels - Books and toys - Gently used seasonal clothing - Household items including dishes, pots, pans, and utensils - Jewelry and watches - Records, CDs, portable stereos, and videos - Select furniture. No beds, only headboards and frames. - Shoes and boots - Small appliances and lamps; small televisions (no consoles) - Tools and toolboxes Material and old leather items are accepted for recycling purposes.

NOTE: Vouchers are available for the thrift store to qualifying individuals.
