Adolescent Girls and Parenting Education - AGAPE - Saint Paul Public Schools Independent School District 625
A supportive, small, secondary learning community which allows young women who are pregnant and/or parenting to attain their high school diploma while developing increased self-sufficiency and parenting skills. There is on-site child care for babies 6 weeks to 33 months, formal classes and opportunities for minimal independent study. The school's goals include academic continuity, successful completion of required coursework, increased parenting skills, development of interpersonal and communication skills, basic standards test proficiency, use of computer literacy skills and development of post-secondary educational goals.
