Provides peer to peer education and advocacy services. Peer to peer services are performed by Certified Peer Recovery Specialists (CPRS) with lived experience in recovery. Peer recovery coaches walk side by side with individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders. They help individuals create their recovery plans and develop their own recovery pathways. Recovery plans and other supports are customized and built on each individual's strengths, needs, and recovery goals. Also educates individuals in treatment centers, detox, jails, public safety officials, and other community partners on substance use disorder and paths for recovery.
