Provides nutrition education, counseling, and foods that promote good health for pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women with children ages birth - 5. Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) provides the following services: - Assistance with any special needs - Health assessment and screening - Nutrition education - Referral to other community services WIC benefits are given to participants to purchase nutritious foods such as cereal, cheese, eggs, infant formula, fruits and vegetables, milk, and peanut butter
