- Adult men ages 18 and over with a felony conviction with a focus on African American men, recently released on probation or parole, and are residents of Hennepin and Ramsey counties - Convictions of a crime for arson or sexual assault are not eligible

Program Fees

Provides a workforce development program for men who are committed to rebuilding their life, change, and ready to work. The program provides: - Completion of training that include certifications in OSHA 10, Fall Protection, Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Safety, and Warehouse Safety - Daily catered lunch boxes, bus passes if needed, and work gear such as steel-toe boots, pants, PPE, and branded apparel - Guided online training sessions - Job coaching and preparation to join a work crew through Better Futures Minnesota's workforce - Paid On-the-Job Training: During the first two weeks, individuals will complete a paid training and academy program. Once successfully completed, individuals can begin working in one of the business lines in deconstruction, property maintenance, appliance recycling, or janitorial services.
