United Way 211 - Greater Twin Cities United Way
Provides free and confidential health and human service information for people in Minnesota. 211 call centers are staffed 24/7/365 by certified Community Resource Specialists who assess needs and refer callers to the help they seek. When accessing 211, individuals obtain information from a database of over 40,000 programs and services, which include information about housing, employment, transportation, health services, and eldercare. In the event of a natural or public disaster, 211 works with local emergency management and disaster relief organizations to provide the public with information on resources not only during the disaster, but also throughout long-term recovery efforts.
