A variety of programs offered encourage seniors and family members to maintain health in body, mind, and spirit. Fitness and Wellness Classes: Provides a wide variety of on-going health and wellness classes and workshops to promote independent living, boost health and wellness, and provide opportunities for meaningful social connection. Workshops are offered multiple times a year and monthly caregiver education covering topics like vision, yoga, and stress reduction. Public Education: Provides speaking opportunities to businesses, civic memberships, service organizations or educational institutions on a variety of topics related to healthy aging and caregiving including memory loss and meaningful activities, recognizing early signs of dementia, communication and dementia, proactively planning for the future, how to make your business dementia-friendly, and accessing programs and services provided by the center.
