- Open Saturday or Sunday
- Open Weekday Evenings After 5 pm
- Does not euthanize an animal except on the advice of a veterinarian in the case of critical injury, terminal illness, debilitating pain, or severe behavioral problem in which the animal is a danger to themselves, other animals or humans
- Promotes and provides humane protection and shelter for abandoned or lost companion animals
- Seeks adoptive homes for companion animals under protective care
- Provides public education regarding societal problem of animal overpopulation
- Promotes the principles of responsible companion animal care
- Advocates for the spaying and neutering of all companion animals
