Eligibility
- Individuals currently facing a financial crisis and have an income that is at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Guideline- Financial Assistance Only: Residents of Stillwater Area School District 834 in the cities of Afton, Bayport, Lake Elmo, Lake Saint Croix Beach, Lakeland, Lakeland Shores, Marine on Saint Croix, Oak Park Heights, Saint Mary's Point, Stillwater, West Lakeland, Withrow, and parts of Woodbury
Required documents
Financial Assistance Only: Photo ID and proof of current residence. Verification of debt or financial crisis for which assistance is sought. For rent and utility assistance, client must apply through Washington County Community Services - Economic Support's Emergency Assistance (EA) program and Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties before applying with Valley Outreach. For utility assistance, client must have a disconnection notice.

Provides personalized support based on each individual's unique situation. Services may include connecting individuals to community resources, short-term case management, and emergency financial assistance when funding is available. Funds may be for rent, utilities, transportation, emergencies, medical/dental expenses, or other basic needs. Emergency funds are often used for:- Car repairs/transportation emergencies (not gas cards)- Electric, gas, and water bills in cases of disconnection- Medical and dental emergencies- Rent, rent deposit, and mortgage payments- Other basic needs crises (on a case-by-case basis)
