Description

A face-to-face or virtual interview with a counselor to help determine which level of care is most appropriate for that person. A Needs Assessment is not a full psychiatric evaluation, but rather a comprehensive assessment which determines appropriate mental health services to address the individual's needs: outpatient clinic services, intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization, inpatient hospital programs, residential treatment, or substance abuse treatment.
