Women, Infants and Children - WIC - Human Services of Faribault and Martin Counties

Provides nutrition education and special foods which promote good health for pregnant, breastfeeding, and post-partum women with infants and/or children up to age 5. WIC provides the following services: - Assistance with any special needs - Health assessment and screening - Nutrition education - Referral to other community services Vouchers are given to participants to purchase nutritious foods such as cereal, cheese, eggs, infant formula, fruits and vegetables, milk, and peanut butter

Residents of Faribault and Martin counties who have a nutritional risk such as insufficient intake of fruits and vegetables or a medical risk such as excessive weight for height, and meet the income guidelines.
