The following is a partial list of services the Big Lake Police Department has available to its residents at no cost. Some of the programs and activities are done in cooperation with the Big Lake District Chamber of Commerce and various other community organizations. - Awareness and education classes for citizens - Back-to-school safety promotion - Criminal investigations - Fingerprinting - Halloween safety bags and instructions - Neighborhood watch - Operation ID - Orientations and seminars on request - Premise surveys - Residential security checks for those who might be vacationing or leaving town for a period of time - Run, yell, and tell program - Security watch - Speed trailer placement - Vehicle unlocks
