Emergency Food - Take Home Meals - Community Food Response
- Meals are prepared by licensed restaurants, hospitals, caterers, etc. and then individually packaged and frozen or refrigerated, and donated to Community Food Response
- Anyone can pick up a meal to take home and warm up (if necessary) to eat. Clients who do not have the ability to heat food will be provided with food that does not require this.
- Clients may use the service as often as needed
- Amount and type of food depends on the food supply and number of clients per family using the service
- Will provide food for special diets that are medically necessary (such as diabetic or gluten-free) when available; also honors religious dietary restrictions, such as no pork

Food Shelf - Princeton Pantry
Provides approximately five days worth of food portioned to family size including dairy, frozen meat, milk, and other basic supplies to those in need. All families are able to use the pantry once per month and more often as needed. Accepts donations of non-perishable and perishable food items, and personal/household items at both locations.

Senior Nutrition Services - Volunteers of America Minnesota and Wisconsin
Provides hot meals to adults ages 60 and over in a sit-down style lunch setting at 6 locations in Hennepin and Anoka counties. Each location is unique and may have specific dietary needs or preferences. Menus are crafted with respect to the unique cultural and religious dietary needs of the communities served. Frozen meals are available at the Anoka, Blaine, and Richfield dining sites. Menus are available online.

Crisis and Basic Needs Drop-In Center - YouthLink
Drop-in center for youth who are homeless, youth in crisis or sexually exploited youth offering individual advocacy and case management, and referrals to a network of services which are designed to achieve self-sufficiency, connectedness and self-empowerment. YouthLink houses the Youth Opportunity Center, a collaboration of agencies providing services to young people in one location. Partner agencies provide services that include housing stability, health and wellness, crisis/basic needs/drop-in, education, and employment. Services include:
- Access to computers, phones, and mail
- Community resource referrals to shelter and housing
- Basic needs services: Hot meals and bag lunches, clothing closet, showers, laundry, and connections to emergency shelters. Assists with connecting youth to Hennepin County support services.
- Financial assistance to obtain vital documentation including social security card, birth certificate, and/or state ID. Application assistance is available for food stamps and Medical Assistance.
- Job search and employment assistance and education assistance and resources
- FHPAP application assistance only for eligible youth in Hennepin County seeking rent assistance. FHPAP does not provide direct assistance. Hennepin County is responsible for determining eligibility and distributing rent assistance funds.
- On-site health clinic and health care support including referrals to mental health and substance abuse services
- Street Outreach Program: Caseworkers go out into the community, locate homeless youth and inform them of services that are available to them. May provide the youth with clothing, safe sex information and resources, bus cards, etc.

Meal Program - Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota - Meals
Nutritious meals are provided via:
- Diner's Clubs: Local restaurants offer meals for older adults ages 60 and older throughout the day or over the lunch hour with no reservations required.
- Community Dining Centers: Community dining locations offer well balanced, hot meals. Meals include milk and are served daily around noon. Special diets such as diabetic, controlled sodium, and low-fat/low-cholesterol can be accommodated through meals. Upon request, hot or frozen carryout meals are provided.
- Food Vendor Services: Registered dietitians create diverse, fresh, nutritious meals to comply with federal guidelines childcare, schools and older adults. Offers a wide range of menu items to satisfy a wide range or customers.
- Meals on Wheels: Volunteers deliver locally prepared hot meals Monday - Friday and perform a safety check for older adults unable to leave their homes. Frozen meals available for weekends, holidays, and other closure days.
- Meals to Go: Provides shipped frozen homestyle meals. Each shipment includes 14 frozen meals.
In addition to a nutritious meal, Senior Nutrition provides seniors:
- Activities and friendly interaction
- Connections with area professionals
- Information about other community senior services
