Provides a bus named Bluebird that is equipped with a whole foods kitchen that serves free meals 2 - 3 days every week at random locations throughout the Twin Cities metro area. Also provides a learning environment for people to experience the preparation of unfamiliar foods.

Provides a hot meal and a food line with bags of boxed and canned pantry items

Drop-in center for youth who are homeless, youth in crisis or sexually exploited youth offering individual advocacy and case management, and referrals to a network of services which are designed to achieve self-sufficiency, connectedness and self-empowerment. YouthLink houses the Youth Opportunity Center, a collaboration of agencies providing services to young people in one location. Partner agencies provide services that include housing stability, health and wellness, crisis/basic needs/drop-in, education, and employment. Services include:

• Access to computers, phones, and mail

• Community resource referrals to shelter and housing

• Basic needs services: Hot meals and bag lunches, clothing closet, showers, laundry, and connections to emergency shelters. Assists with connecting youth to Hennepin County support services.

• Financial assistance to obtain vital documentation including social security card, birth certificate, and/or state ID. Application assistance is available for food stamps and Medical Assistance.

• Job search and employment assistance and education assistance and resources

• FHPAP application assistance only for eligible youth in Hennepin County seeking rent assistance. FHPAP does not provide direct assistance. Hennepin County is responsible for determining eligibility and distributing rent assistance funds.

• On-site health clinic and health care support including referrals to mental health and substance abuse services

• Street Outreach Program: Caseworkers go out into the community, locate homeless youth and inform them of services that are available to them. May provide the youth with clothing, safe sex information and resources, bus cards, etc.

Provides the following:

• Community Lunch: Available daily

• Food Shelf: Available once per month, provides a 4-6 day supply of food with 3 meals a day for each member of the household. Diapers are available on a case-by-case basis. Donations accepted.

Operates a soup kitchen that serves hot meals during lunch and evenings every day of the week. Meals are not restricted to residents only. All individuals and families are welcome; however, children must be accompanied by a parent at all times.

Provides a weekly community hot meal during the school year. Menu changes weekly.

Day Center

• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as snacks

• Facilitation with connecting to county resources, such as housing, food and insurance

• Gently used clothing, shoes, boots and cold weather gear

• On site medical clinic, open 6 days per week for clients

• Safe, non-judgmental environment

• Transportation to meetings, medical appointments, and legal proceedings

Mobile Outreach Unit - M.O.U.

• A 14' box truck stocked with essential items, clothing, toiletries and more

• Housing related coordinated entry intakes

Daily dinner served at the Olive Branch House and Dorothy Day House

Previously held at the Itasca Resource Center. Community Cafe serves a free meal 2 days a week.

Community meal

Free community meal served curbside. One meal is handed out to each individual who comes to the door. Only one meal is given out per individual.

Provides a free meal to anyone. Worship service and spiritual counseling available for any participant. Attendance is not required to participate in meal or Free Store.

Provides a free hot meal for the church and wider community of Forest Lake during the academic school year. No meals are served during the summer.
