Housing Hub:
- Connects single adults ages 18 and over and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of being homeless in Carver and Scott County with a Housing Specialist to provide housing problem solving. Housing Specialists can assist households with practical solutions, identify sources, alternatives, and mediate conflict resolution between landlords, friends, or family.
- The initial access point to be connected with a Housing Specialist is short-term with a 30-day timeframe. After 30 days initial contact, households with no other pathways identified will be connected to a Housing Assessor and placed on the Housing Registry.

The situation must be solvable within one or two nights (This means that vouchers are not an option for individuals who have no viable plan to acquire immediate housing. These individuals will instead be referred to the Warming Center in Winona or may be offered transportation to shelters in La Crosse or Rochester.)
Applicants must demonstrate that an emergency exists and must demonstrate that staying in a motel will resolve the emergency need. Law Enforcement has the ability to issue lodging vouchers after-hours and on weekends.
