Provides a temporary emergency overnight shelter accommodation for families experiencing homelessness in Hennepin County. It acts as a triage space, resource connection, and diversion point. The purpose of the Family Safe Space in the family shelter system is to provide a resource for families experiencing homelessness to ensure that no child sleeps outside in Hennepin County. Families accessing the shelter have access to showers and hygiene supplies, a clothing closet with clean clothes for children and adults, diapers, undergarments, formula, and meals.

Emergency shelter in a home-like environment for up to 22 families at a time. Four months is the average length of stay however, residents can stay as long as necessary. Services: - Residents work toward securing permanent housing. Emphasis on developing life management skills. - Support groups and parenting support open to residents - On-site supportive services services for adults and children
Overnight emergency shelter for men. Social services are provided through collaboration with Hennepin County. Facility includes 120 beds and 5 mats, showers, dinner, and light breakfast.
- Emergency shelter for men - Free breakfast, lunch and dinner 365 days a year - Beds, showers, clean clothing, hygiene items, laundry facilities, lockers and more available to guests - Pets are not allowed. Guests have to make other arrangements for their pets before being accepted into the shelter
Support and advocacy services for persons who have been a victim of a crime. The following services are provided: - Victim's rights information - Emergency short term housing (up to 5 days) and shelter coordination for long term housing with shelters - Safety planning - Assistance at the hospital following a 9-1-1 or crisis call - Individual support - Information and referral services - Court assistance - Assistance in filing for a Harassment Restraining Order - Ongoing support counseling and groups ***Emergency funds: private donations and grants are sometimes available to specifically assist clients facing crisis and financial barriers to maintain or attain financial independence from abusers

St. Anne's Place is a safe environment for homeless families to stabilize and explore options for their future. Shelter provides private bedrooms, shared bathrooms, meals, snacks, and basic necessities for up to 16 families. St. Anne's Place is not a domestic violence shelter. St. Anne's Place cannot accept self-referrals; all referrals must come from Hennepin County Shelter Team. Additional programming may include: - Case management - Ensuring that children are enrolled and attending school - Referrals for behavioral health services - Skill building in parenting, education, finance, nutrition, and more - Tutoring for school-age children

Provides limited storage locker program for those in need of more longer term assistance, and morning services to allow shelter guests to shower and have a cup of coffee. Also aids in making connections to other programs and services as needed to aid people towards long term stability.

Emergency shelter for 34 single men and six women. Shelter does not accept children or pets. 28-day beds may be extended up to three months if individual works with a case manager on goals, saves 40% of their income and follows the rules.
Emergency Shelter and Day Center for people experiencing homelessness. Servants of Shelter operates a 5 apartment unit Family Shelter. Shelter guests receive Case Management and Housing Resource Navigation services during their 30-90 day stay. SOS operates a Day Center with laundry, showers, a communal kitchen, hygiene items, and more. SOS also operates two Permanent Supportive Housing programs for people living with disabilities who are also experiencing homelessness.

The Community Action Center operates the only homeless shelter in northern Rice County. - Places one individual or family at a time in an apartment where they may stay for up to 90 days - Provides food, support with housing search, and coordinating community resources - Because of increasing demand, priority is given to the most vulnerable clients The shelter is an access point for Coordinated Entry housing programs; after regular business hours, the CAC cooperates with local police and area churches in serving people in the Northfield area who need temporary shelter at a local motel.

Provides shelter in a dormitory-style for single adults and small apartments to families at a time. Services include: - Housing search assistance for shelter residents with a Housing Advocate - Length of stay is dependent upon the needs and cooperation of each guest - Lockers may be available to shelter residents - When shelters are full, people can expect to sleep on pads on the floor until a bed becomes available
Provides shelter open to single individuals and families. Consists of four units for emergency housing and eight units for transitional housing. Individuals and families can reside in emergency housing units for a maximum of 30 days, then may be referred to transitional units. Residents receive case management, and one-to-one support services to help residents stabilize their lives and work on self-sufficiency.
