Provides new innerspring mattresses and platform frame sets for purchase at a discounted price. Referred clients may purchase as many mattress and platform frame sets as needed. The mattresses are foam, 5 inches thick, firm, are innerspring, and include a quilted top. The purchase program is open to all past and present clients who have been referred to Bridging.

Accepts donations of money and supplies including: - Fleece tie blankets - Pillows - Quilts - Twin bedding appropriate for children ages 2 - 17 - Twin bed sheets - Twin comforters - Twin mattress pads Provides a twin bed frame, box spring, twin mattresses, mattress pad, bedding, new pair of pajamas, and dental kit delivered to a child's home. Assistance is limited to one in a lifetime. Volunteer opportunities include bed delivery and in-home setup as well as fundraising activities.

Slightly used mattresses will be given away to individuals or families who have recently moved within the last 30 days. Service will be provided at 10 am on Mondays. A maximum of two mattresses will be given to each family. Delivery can be arranged in Minneapolis and some connected metro suburbs. There is no guarantee as to which day the mattresses will be delivered. Clients may still request a mattress if they do not live in the delivery area, as long as they can pick it up.
Collects, stores, and provides bath towels, bath rugs, bakeware, clean bedding (bed blankets, comforters, mattress pads, new or gently used pillows, and sheets), dishes, dish towels, flatware, glasses, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, used furniture (bed frames, chairs, chests, coffee tables, dinette sets, dressers, end tables, lamps, love seats, mattresses, nightstands, small bookcases, and sofas), and basic household items in working condition (blenders, coffee makers, irons, fans, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners) in good condition from community members and shares with families in need in Douglas County through referrals from approved community service and crisis agencies.

Provides a means for churches and other organizations to work together to match up volunteers to meet an individual's or family's needs. Provides: - Baby Care Ministry: Helps young families by providing infant and toddler high chairs, baby cribs, pack-n-plays, and strollers - Build-A-Bed: Builds and gives single beds and bunk beds. Also delivers them directly to homes and assembles them in the room. - Bike Ministry: Provides bicycles for adults and children - Clean Sweep: Helps families with basic cleaning supplies such as paper towels, trash bags, sponges, all-purpose spray, toilet bowl cleaner, and more - Clothing Ministry: Provides essential clothing through Trending Upward Thrift Shoppe - Diaper Ministry: Helps young families by providing diapers, pull-ups, and wipes for babies and toddlers - Food and Gas Cards: Provides gift cards for food and gas - FurniShare: Matches up donations of household goods and furniture (including beds, mattresses/box springs (free of stains, rips, and tears), dressers, kitchen tables/chairs, and living room furniture) with people who need them. Also provides monthly furniture sales. - Kitchen Essentials: Offers a basic supply of silverware, dishes, cups, and cookware to individuals and families - LAM Vac Valet: Donates and repairs vacuum cleaners in good condition - Loads of Love: Cares for families in need by providing laundry detergent, fabric sheets, dish, and dishwasher soap - Personal Care: Provides necessary personal items including soap, shampoo, razors, toilet paper, deodorant, feminine products, and more - The Birthday Closet Ministry: Provides supplies for children's birthdays - The Linen Closet: Provides new or used blankets, sheets, pillowcases, towels, and washcloths - Towel Ministry: Provides bath towels, kitchen towels, and washcloths - Winter Wear Ministry: Provides boots, coats, hats, mittens, and scarves
