Look Good Feel Better - American Cancer Society - Northwest Division
A free service which teaches cancer patients hands-on cosmetic techniques to help them cope with appearance - related to side effects from chemotherapy and radiation treatments, provided by certified/trained cosmotologists. A twice-a-year program held in January and October offers several free services for guests to access in the same place. These services include but are not limited to:

Provides clothing (via clothing closet) by appointment and basic household items/furniture to people in need who are referred. Small food donations and prayers are available at an appointment.
Birthday Closet: Available for parents who need help providing for their child's birthday. A referral from a partner agency is required.
Employment Support: Job search, interview, and resume counseling; available by appointment.
Haircuts: By appointment only and based on stylist availability, haircuts are available to current clients of Reach and Restore

Individuals can access the food shelf twice a month. Amount of food provided depends on number of people in a household. Provides American food and specialty ethnic food for Africans and Hispanics. Fresh food and liquid nutrition supplements are also provided.
Mobile food shelf available once a month in front of Silver Lake Apartment office, 1515 3rd Avenue NE.
Also provides eye exam and foot/nail care.
