Transportation Services - Trailblazer Transit

Provides general public transportation within McLeod, Sibley, and Wright counties. There are two different services: Dial-A-Ride bus and minivan service. Professional drivers use handicapped-accessible buses to provide Dial-A-Ride service throughout the three counties and within one mile outside McLeod and Sibley county borders. Professional drivers operate the minivan service to provide rides to individuals who need transportation above and beyond what can be provided by the bus system. The minivan is often used because a customer is in a wheelchair and needs to go outside the service area of the buses.

Provides a network of local churches that partner to link resources and services to help community members in need, while also offering opportunities to engage personally with those they serve. Resources and services provided include: - Appliances - Clothing - Financial counseling - Furniture - Household items - Information and referral to community resources - Mentoring - Minor car repairs - Transportation to appointments - Vacuums - Winter clothing ?All services are dependent on volunteer availability and donations; there is no guarantee of receiving services or assistance. Non-Emergency Transportation - Care Cab - Saint Cloud

Provides non-emergency medical transportation, working with the client's health insurance to cover costs. Transportation services are provided to therapy appointments, medical appointments, hospitals, nursing homes, adult day centers, and schools. Referrals to other alternative ride options within network providers are available.

Additional options for transport include Dial-a-Ride, Flexible Routes that allows riders to pick up at a location within 3/4 of a mile from a regular stop, same day service, and weekend service within Willmar and Litchfield. - Provides local transportation and/or Dial-A-Ride services for all residents of Cannon Falls/Randolph, Faribault, Northfield, Kenyon/Wanamingo, Lake City/Frontenac, Lonsdale, Pine Island, Plainview/Elgin, Red Wing, Wabasha/Kellogg, and Zumbrota/Mazeppa. - In some cities, Hiawathaland Transit has established routes that serve the majority of the city limits. Riders may get on the route(s) at their own discretion; pre-scheduled route deviations are also available. - In other communities, Dial-A-Ride bus is available. - In cities where both route and Dial-A-Ride exist, some eligibility restrictions do apply to the Dial-A-Ride service. Each bus is handicap accessible. Assistants accompanying a person with disabilities ride free. Drivers do not assist individuals into homes, apartment buildings, or businesses. Tokens are encouraged. Drivers do not make change. Passengers are required to pay their fare before their ride and will be charged for any no-call no-shows. Drivers do not assist passengers with packages and number of packages may be limited to what a passenger can independently carry and can be properly and safely secured. Twenty-four hour advance notice is encouraged for any ride needing the use of the lift.

Kato Flex - Mankato Transit System

Shared ride, curb-to-curb service for individuals residing in areas where there is no fixed route bus service connecting neighborhoods to the Mankato Transit System network. Rides are scheduled from a Flex Zone to the service area and from the service area back to the point of origin.
