District Court Administrator - Itasca County Court Administration

- Receives payments of fines to Court System. - Handles traffic violations and fines, including scheduling of misdemeanor traffic appearances - Handles appearances in and summons to District Court. - Keep schedule of District Court settings for trials (both jury and court). - Handles all appearances on felony charges and gross misdemeanor charges. - Answers questions about bail bonds/posting of bail - Handles preparations for the following types of cases: - Conciliation - Appeals - Probate and Juvenile matters - Adoption and Trustee - Civil - Family and Support/Paternity - Public terminal available to check cases. - Maintains files of all court cases in the County. - Credit Cards are accepted (VISA and Mastercard only). - Provides jury duty information. - Provide interpreters for hearing impaired & language needs for courtrooms. - Maintains files for Administrative Law Support cases. - Schedules Tax Court cases for Itasca County. - Provide limited record checks. Requests by public are sent to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension on state level. - Schedule inter-active television appearances for Itasca County. - Refer appointment of Guardian Ad Litems to local coordinator. - Maintain all monies held in minor settlements for Itasca County.
