Walk In Self Help Center - Minnesota Judicial Branch Self-Help Center

Offers in-person support from trained court staff who are available to assist with general procedural information and provide access to court resources. Provides Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) outreach and application assistance. SNAP, formerly known as Food Stamps, is designed to assist low-income individuals in accessing nutritious food from grocery retail outlets, as well as farmers' markets. The goal is to help people make an informed decision about what hunger resources are available to them to ensure an overall successful transition from poverty to self-sufficiency.

Food Shelf - Community Action Center - CAC

- A food shelf open to participants to walk-through and shop for food once per week. The food shelf offers fresh produce, dairy products, eggs, meat, grains, shelf stable protein, cooking and baking ingredients, baby food, and more. - Donations accepted such as fresh and frozen food items, diapers, and money - Families with young children can access diapers ranging from size newborn - 6 years and diaper wipes every week - Home delivery may be available to community members with limited mobility or special circumstances - Items provided may also include feminine hygiene products, household products, toiletries, detergent, and soap. Items are dependent upon donations. - Staff can assist with applications for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and refer to other resources

Outreach Services - Milestones - Saint Cloud

Provides outreach services and support to families of young children and the adults that care for them, including licensed family child care providers, child care centers, and family friend and neighbor caregivers. Programs include: - Connecting to a childcare liaison to assist families with the process of securing child care that meets the family's needs, including county and enrollment forms - Resources, support, and training to family friends, and neighbors who are unlicensed caregivers to improve the quality of care provided to children - Car seat education, distribution, and installation for families with qualifying insurance. Car seat education classes are also provided in Somali and can be translated into other languages as needed. - Shared Services Alliances: Designed to work in partnership with Early Child Care programs to offer the services needed to improve long-term financial strength and manage capacity, along with the abilitiy to provide care and services.
