The education Plan is a written document that outlines a plan for providing programs to meet the unique and specialized educational needs of Indian students. It is developed in coordination with the district and the Indian Education Committee. It identifies needs of the Indian students, the goals and objectives to be accomplished, procedures to be followed and the methods to be used in evaluating the program as well as proposed budgets. Limited to Anoka, Coleraine, Cook/Cherry, Eveleth, Fridley, HIbbing, HOTE, International Falls, Minneapolis, Moundsview, Robbinsdale, St. Paul, Tower, Virginia, and Warroad.

Scholarships are available for these courses. These are designed for youth ages 12 - 15.- Pre-College Classes: Offers high school students the chance to learn from professional artists in art and design during the school year or summer session. Classes offered can be earned as college credits. These are designed for students ages 16 and over. A post-secondary enrollment option is offered as an honors program for high-school seniors, free of charge.- Student Classes: Offers class themes including painting, bookmaking, animation, portraits, and partners with the University of Minnesota Raptor Center for young children ages 6 - 12.

Scholarships help pay for Parent Aware child care and early education programs. Each child who has been awarded a scholarship is eligible to receive up to $8,500 for a 12-month period, depending on tuition costs and the Parent Aware Star rating of the program. Scholarships are renewable until the child is Kindergarten eligible. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the early childhood program that the family chooses, which may include Parent Aware rated family or center-based child care programs, preschool programs, school district programs, or Head Start programs. Must be used at a Parent Aware-related program.
