Home visits are made to pregnant women and mothers and infants by a skilled maternal and child health nurse. Education and support services to reduce maternal risk-taking behaviors and improve parenting skills are provided through individual counseling, group education, prepared childbirth classes, special classes for students on healthy lifestyles, and the distribution of printed materials and newsletters - Family Planning Services are available at Koochiching Family Planning Clinic

Immunization clinics are offered the first and third Tuesday of the month, 3 pm - 5:30 pm. No appointment necessary. A $20 donation requested per vaccination, however, no one will be turned away.
