- The Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) Program, known in Minnesota as the Child and Teen Checkups (C&TC) Program, is a benefit for Medical Assistance and Minnesota Care. C&TC provides comprehensive health care for children and teens, newborn through the age of 20, who are enrolled in Medical Assistance (MA) or MinnesotaCare - The goal of the C&TC Program is to improve the health of eligible children and teens and reduce the negative impact of health problems. Maternal Child Health Services - All Becker County families with a newborn are contacted by a Community Health Nurse. Parental, Childbirth, and Newborn Education - Educational support is offered to all residents of Becker County. Follow Along Program - Consists of a series of developmental questionnaires the parent completes and returns to Becker County Community Health. The questionnaire is scored and a letter is sent to the parent with the results. This program is free to all children in Becker County under the age of 36 months.
