- Extinguisher demos for any business or group
- Freeborn County Fire Investigation Team (FCFIT): trained to look for the cause and origin of the fire and assist other fire departments with investigative needs
- Free smoke detectors and installation at no charge. Limit one per household.
- Reassurance call-in program for the elderly or single individuals for safety check-in
- Response to fires, and other emergencies such as vehicle accidents
- Safety talks and presentations to groups and organizations
