Services include: - Chemical health assessment and referrals - Chiropractic services - Medical services include primary care, transportation assistance, and community resource assistance and referral - Nutrition services include assessment and referral, education, consultation, advocacy - Mental health diagnosis and treatment services - Optical including vision screening and eyeglasses - Pharmaceutical services - Physical therapy - Public health nursing services include outreach and assessment, maternal/child health and family planning, child and teen checkups, and TB case management Donations of unopened medicine, inhalers, and supplies are gratefully accepted. Must be delivered to the project.

Listen to KGHS Radio Wednesday afternoons & Saturday mornings - Labor and Delivery class training is provided through the Rainy Lake Medical Center Hospital Campus - The Maternal and Child Health Special Project seeks to reduce infant mortality and disability and to improve the health of the mothers and babies. Home visits are made to pregnant women and mothers and infants by a skilled maternal and child health nurse. Education and support services to reduce maternal risk-taking behaviors and improve parenting skills are provided through individual counseling, group education, prepared childbirth classes, special classes for students on healthy lifestyles, and the distribution of printed materials and newsletters - Family Planning Services are available at Koochiching Family Planning Clinic
