Child and Teen Check Up - Saint Louis County Public Health and Human Services
Identifies health or developmental problems in young children early to help them stay healthy. Residents on Medical Assistance who may need transportation to a checkup can call through Medical Assistance insurance providers. Services include:
- Child and teen checkup exams that meet the requirements for starting school, camp, and other prerequisites
- Health screening for a physical exam, oral health, vision and hearing, developmental and social-emotional screening, substance risk, mental health, sexually transmitted infections, HIV, lead, sickle cell, labs, nutrition review, and immunizations

Complete head to toe physical exam
Information about good physical and mental health
Physical growth measurements
Referrals to other health specialists if needed

At certain ages, an exam will also include:
Developmental and behavioral checks

Lead testing and other lab tests
Oral health screenings and fluoride varnish application
