HIV Education and Support Services for Youth - Youth and AIDS Projects, University of Minnesota
HIV Education and Support Services for Youth:
- HIV prevention, education and counseling for young men and women who have sex with men ages 13 - 30, high risk people of any age who report having sexual and needle-sharing partners between the ages of 13 - 30.
- Free HIV testing for anyone of any age.
- Case management for any HIV+ youth age 13 - 30 and their families, including support and referrals to community resources as needed.
- Group education and consultation about AIDS and HIV-related health issues of gay and bisexual youth for professionals, community members, and schools.

- The Expert Series: An educational podcast that features empowering conversations with leading lupus experts that focus on helping people live with lupus
- Local Support and Programs: There are opportunities to engage locally and participate in education events and support groups dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by lupus. Experts can help individuals find resources, support groups, and get involved in the fight to end lupus.

Monitors diseases and promotes a healthy community. Services include:
- Adult and children vaccinations and information. Vaccinations are offered at the Horizon Public Health Office in Alexandria.
- Community education resources to protect and prevent diseases from insects, common infections, lead poisoning, and viruses.
- Safe drinking water testing: helps address common concerns, including: arsenic, coliform bacteria, lead, manganese, and nitrate and support treatment of contaminants in private wells.
- Substance misuse prevention resources
