Coordinates free air transportation, through volunteer pilots, for passengers with non-emergency medical or humanitarian needs far from home. Humanitarian flights are on a case-by-case basis. Flights are typically facilitated in the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. When a departure or destination is beyond the service area, Lifeline Pilots will partner with other volunteer pilot organizations to serve those in need. All flights are provided by volunteer pilots. Representatives can be accessed at the Clinic & Specialty Center, Whittier Clinic, or Brooklyn Park Clinic. MNsure Enrollment On the MNsure marketplace, individuals can find, compare, and choose healthcare coverage, including commercial health insurance plans and low-cost or free plans through government programs. A financial counselor can help complete the online application. If eligible for a government program such as Medical Assistance or Minnesota Care, individuals may enroll through MNsure year-round. Uncompensated Care Enrollment If not eligible for coverage through MNsure, individuals may qualify for the Uncompensated Care discount program. The program provides discounted care based on family size and annual household income. A financial counselor can answer program questions and help complete the application. Provides air transportation to post 9/11 combat wounded and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes through a national network of volunteer aircraft owners and pilots. Passengers are transported to and from the medical facility for the benefit of the service member, not the passengers. Passenger eligibility requires the service member to be undergoing continuing medical care, either hospitalized or as an outpatient. Passengers must be family or a very close personal friend of the service member.

Patients must apply for financial assistance within 240 days after the date of their first post-services billing statement.
