Birth Control Methods - WE Health Clinic

Offers a range of birth control options to meet different needs and lifestyles. Staff are available by appointment, in person or via telehealth, to help patients choose the method that is right for them. Some methods are available directly at the clinic, while others require a prescription filled at the patient's preferred pharmacy. Available methods include: - Birth control pills taken daily - Contraceptive patch replaced weekly - Vaginal ring (NuvaRing©) inserted monthly - Depo shot (Depo Provera©) injected every three months - IUDs hormonal (effective for 3 to 7 years) and non-hormonal (effective up to 12 years), also available for emergency contraception - Implant (Nexplanon©) inserted in the arm, effective for up to 5 years - Condoms external and internal, protect against pregnancy and STIs - Fertility awareness methods track menstrual cycles to avoid pregnancy Note: Tubal ligation and vasectomy are not offered at WE Health Clinic but are available through referral.
