Intensive Outpatient - Adult
?- Partial Hospitalization Program offers a short-term, outpatient mental health care program that provides team-based care. While living at home, an individual attends group therapy.
?- Length: 3 weeks
?- Schedule: 4 days a week, 6 hours a day
?- Depending on the individual's needs, they may work with:
- - Chaplains: Give spiritual guidance and support
- Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADCs): Access substance abuse issues
- Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Registered Nurses (RNs): Provide care, treatment, medication management and education
- Occupational Therapists: Help an individual gain skills related to daily activities so they can be more independent
- Psychiatrists: Provide care, treatment and medication management
- Psychotherapists: Offer individualized and group therapy
- Recreational Therapists: Coordinate programs like art therapy, music therapy and recreation therapy
- Social Workers: Connect an individual with community resources and help them plan for care after they leave the program

?- For young adults ages 18 - 25. Offers an intensive outpatient therapy program. Individuals gain skills to better manage their mental health while continuing to work or attend school.
?- Length: 4 - 6 weeks
?- Schedule: 3 days a week, 3 hours a day
?- Young adults meet with a therapist and other young adults, and learn skills to help them:
- - Balance priorities and demands
- Build healthy relationships
- Cope with difficult situations
- Focus attention on the present (mindfulness)
- Identify and change irrational or unhelpful ways of thinking
- Manage emotions
- Set goals
