This program is geared towards youth at risk of not finishing school. The main focuses are to assist with completing high school, move on to post-secondary, and/or transition to work. It offers a summer job for 8 weeks with a paycheck and entry-level training in a variety of occupations. They offer counselors that can help mentor young students, identify problems, and encourage personal goals.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture requires each state to operate an employment and training program for Food Support recipients. The goal of the FSET program is to help such recipients prepare for and become employed. The program operates in all 87 counties.
