Offers employment services for individuals living with a disability to help them navigate employment options that are a right fit for them. The Employment Department of Minnesota Diversified Industries (MDI) is available at all locations and works with each individual to find a match to meet employment goals. Services include:
- Career Skills Training: Help individuals build personal and professional development for lifelong career skills
- Community Placement Services: The Placement Team works with job seekers and referral sources to find the best employment fit for the individual's skills, abilities, and interests
- Job Placement: Offers meaningful work, such as assembling plastic containers, putting together kits for medical companies, and operating packaging equipment

Food Support Employment And Training Program - Winona County Health and Human Services - Human Service Division
Food Support recipients may be required to participate in the Food Stamp Employment and Training (FSET) program. Each participant is first provided with an orientation to program services followed by an individual assessment and completion of an employability plan. Depending on the individual's needs, they may take part in job seeking training, group and individual job search activities, remedial literacy or other adult basic education, English language training, short-term vocational or technical training, job placement, and assistance with transportation or other supportive services. Participants who fail to comply with program requirements are subject to sanctions and could temporarily or permanently lose food benefits.

Classes include: budgeting to create savings, asset building and debt reduction, building a good credit report, and consumer protection and financial institutions.
- Healthcare Career Pathways: Helps participants build skills, reach career goals, and obtain proper certifications and licenses. Provides a training coach that prepares participants for college-level classes, connections to employers, and builds professional skills and networks.
