The health insurance premium program pays Part B Medicare, Medigap, commercial health insurance, and COBRA premiums for dialysis patients who have insufficient income and savings; this is a "last resort" source of financial assistance The American Kidney Fund Safety Net Grants cover: - Disaster relief grants - Transportation expenses for travel to dialysis - Prescription medications - Other necessities that patients may have related to their treatment - Kidney donor expenses - The cost of dialysis while traveling (emergency dialysis) Also offer nutritional products and durable medical supplies at discount prices through contracts with certain mail-order pharmacies

Offers a reimbursement program for chore services that have already been completed by a provider. Provides limited financial assistance to residents who need help paying for some types of chore services so the resident can remain independently in their own home, either long-term or on a temporary basis. Each request will be evaluated on an individual basis, based on need and income.
