The American Kidney Fund Safety Net Grants cover:
- Disaster relief grants
- Transportation expenses for travel to dialysis
- Prescription medications
- Other necessities that patients may have related to their treatment
- Kidney donor expenses
- The cost of dialysis while traveling (emergency dialysis)
Also offer nutritional products and durable medical supplies at discount prices through contracts with certain mail-order pharmacies
