Provides weekly 1-to-1 service where volunteers ages 55 and older provide assistance and friendship to isolated or homebound seniors; some services include:

Public Programming: Workshops, Meals On Wheels delivery, Coffee Connection (Monday - Thursday 9:30 am - 12 pm), weekly activities (education hour, arts and crafts, games, and more), Bone Builders (Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 am - 10:30 am), Finland Community Senior Meal (2nd Wednesday 11:30 am - 1 pm), non-medical nail care and blood pressure clinics (3rd Thursday 9 am - 3 pm), monthly foot care clinics (call for dates). Resources: Technology support (Tech Tuesdays - volunteer-led assistance Tuesdays, 11 am - 2 pm) and referrals, free tax preparation (VITA), Medicare workshops (during open enrollment), legal kiosk, medical equipment loan closet, and Per Mar medical alert system setup. Volunteer Opportunities: Casual volunteer, Driver, friendly visitor/caller, fundraising volunteer, garden helper, governance volunteer, pet therapy volunteer, program assistant or leader, tax helper, and tech support volunteer.

Specialized emergency shelter, supportive housing, and mental health services to youth who are commercially sexually exploited, trafficked, or at high risk of sexual exploitation. DHS-licensed housing programs for eligible youth include emergency shelter (The Loft) and group residential housing (Sol House) Mental health support services:

• Trauma-informed therapy
• Substance abuse recovery support
• Peer support groups

Weekly program providing girls and feminine youth with a safe space to discuss development, mental health, struggles, and triumphs. Discussions are supported with soothing activities, development of coping skills, and a focus on active participation and listening skills. Regular participants are recognized monthly with the opportunity to visit local restaurants, coffee shops, etc. for that week of programming.

Provides a community center offer services such as:

• Counseling and support for new immigrants

• Employment referral and assistance

• English as a Second Language and citizenship classes

• Forms and applications assistance for Social Security, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicare, Medical Assistance, MinnesotaCare, public housing, childcare assistance, WIC, or Head Start programs

• Health counseling and education

• Home care services contracted with Medica offering homemaking and PCA services to older adults and individuals living with a disability

• Parenting skills counseling

• Senior program offering socialization and activities as well as seminars on health, immigration, and social services every other month

• Translation services

• Transportation assistance for health appointments, benefits appointments, and school

• Youth programs such as a summer youth program helping children who are academically at risk, lack English skills, and have minimal education improve their academics and learning

Provides peer recovery support services to youth and adults in Minnesota. Utilizing lived experiences of substance use disorder, stories of recovery are shared alongside those in need of support. Adult Services: ?Provides peer based recovery services to adults in need of support and assists with exploring options for recovery or treatment. ?Youth Services: Provides youth peer support services in Minnesota. Partners with five school districts and 21 schools to deliver co-located peer support and peer recovery support for students in, or seeking recovery from a substance use disorder.
