Programs that distribute food baskets which usually contain a ham, turkey, or other meat and all the trimmings for a Christmas dinner (or vouchers to purchase these items) and occasionally gifts for children or other family member.

Must  have an honorable discharge (DD214 Form 4 required), a 30% or higher VA  disability rating, and minor dependents listed in VA Ebenefits (children  must be biological or legally adopted). Must show proof of financial  hardship not related to legal or criminal issues. 
 Registration: Wednesday, October  1st, 2025 - Friday, October 31st, 2025

- Eligibility: Families who are not receiving Christmas help from another organization and have legal custody of their children
- Intake: Visit website to complete an online registration at https://www.christmascommittee.com/application-instructions/. Only online registrations are accepted. Fill out the application carefully, including a wish list for each child. Gift requests up to $35 per child. Do not request video games or gift cards. When an application is approved, the applicant will receive an appointment listing time and date.

Documents: Picture ID with signature, proof of custody of children, and appointment card
Distribution: A postcard notification will be sent to applicants mid-December with an appointment date and time. Notifications are mailed to the home address provided on the application. Families who are approved and request for food and toy delivery will be provided a postcard about their distribution date and time. A person must be present to accept delivered food and gift items.
