Family Services - Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe
Child Protection Services:
Conducts child protection investigations on all neglect and abuse complaints within the Band's jurisdiction. The program provides ongoing child welfare case management and prevention services to Band members, first-generation descendants, and American Indians within the Band's designated service area. The Indian Child Welfare program monitors the welfare of all Band children and first-generation descendants outside the Band's designated service area under the Indian Child Welfare Act.
Foster Care:
Licenses and trains foster care providers within the Band's designated service area. Any American Indian or community member with strong ties to the Mille Lacs Band may apply to become a licensed foster care provider.
Independent Living and Life Skills program:
Provides child welfare support services to Band members, first-generation descendants, and American Indians who are 14 - 21 years old and live within the designated service area of the Band. It also provides independent living assistance to Band members, first-generation descendants, and American Indians who are 16 - 21 years old and live within the Band's designated service area.

Prosper Program - Gather and Grow Food Shelf and Connect Center
Offers life skills classes such as:
- Employment Strategies: Classes will provide participants an opportunity to assess their values and career preferences, create and build a resume, prepare for interviews, and network with potential employers
- Life and Empowerment Coaching: Participants will work one-on-one with a certified Life Coach for a period of up to nine months assessing their life and setting goals to improve in areas they identify
- Mental Health Support Groups: Groups are regularly scheduled by covering various topics and offer a safe place to be heard and create community. All are welcome to attend.

Veterans Bridge to Recovery - Minneapolis VA Community Resource and Referral Center
A psychosocial rehabilitation program for veterans with a serious mental illness. Veterans work with a coach and as a group to create a recovery plan. Veterans work toward their goals by developing a recovery plan, attending programming 2 - 5 days per week, meet with a coach, explore educational services, and practice skills outside in the community.

Provides supportive services working in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Health's Safe Harbor and other federal agencies for youth aged 28 and under in the Twin Cities metro area and surrounding suburbs who are at risk of or already experiencing sexual violence or trauma.
- Provides prevention, intervention, and aftercare supportive services for any young person aged 28 and under in the seven-county metro area who has experienced or is at risk of experiencing various levels of violence and trauma, focusing on sexual exploitation/sex trafficking.
- Gender-specific services for female/femme/trans youth age 17 and under in Ramsey, Hennepin, and Anoka counties offering one-on-one supportive services to young people who are justice system involved, experiencing sexual exploitation/human trafficking, or who are at high risk.
- Provides one-on-one life coaching and mentoring support aimed at helping assess and meet basic needs and goals, including strength-based, harm reduction, non-judgmental, and trauma-informed best practices
- Provides group-based education aimed at decreasing risk factors and increasing protective factors/resilience to prevent human trafficking and other forms of sexual trauma or domestic violence, and promotes healthy relationships
