Park and Recreation Activities - Burnsville Recreation Department

- Recreational facilities including skating rinks, tennis courts, a swimming beach, playground areas, picnic areas, a boat launch, and sliding areas - Recreational activities including archery, baseball, football, softball, basketball, soccer, par three nine hole golf course, indoor ice center, adaptive programs, teen programs, Camp Explore day camp, and nature programs - Educational programs including hockey clinics, a learn to skate program, swimming instruction, golf lessons and leagues, and cross-country ski lessons - Nature and ski trails - Equipment loans including canoe rack rentals at Alimagnet, Crystal Beach, Crystal Boat Launch, and Day and Lac Lavon parks - Athletic club - Alimagnet Dog Park: 7-acre site allows off lease recreation. Enclosed by fencing and has double-gated entrance for safety and control. Water area, open grass area, wooded area, and mowed trail that is approximately 1/2 mile. - Community garden plots available for rental at Crosstown 12551 Portland Avenue South, Neill Park 13501 Upton Avenue, and Wolk Park 13800 Parkwood Lane - Skate Park located at 251 Civic Center Parkway
