Pillsbury House Theatre - Pillsbury United Communities - Social Enterprises
- Main Stage Theatre: Shows with a social justice focus. Naked Stages provides a mentorship opportunity for early career performance artists in Minnesota.
- Chicago Avenue Project: Features two performances each year, spring and winter, where kids and their adult acting mentors star in 10-minute plays written just for them by adult playwrights, and kids and their adult playwriting mentors write 10-minute plays that are performed by adult actors.
- Breaking Ice: A diverse company of professional actors portrays real-life situations that are customized to meet the goals, needs, and culture of each unique organization that PUC serves. Performances blend drama, music, poetry, movement, and humor in a series of dynamic scenes to explore how systemic inequities, implicit bias, and common misperceptions show up in relationships, creating uncomfortable interactions that inhibit innovation, motivation, and productivity in the workplace. Following the performance, trained facilitators lead the group in a reflective discussion to deepen awareness and practice exploring the tough stuff together. Visit website at Breakingice.org.
- McKnight Community Engaged Artists and Culture Bearer Fellowships: Support for mid-career artists who use their artistic practice to engage relationship aimed at producing social or cultural transformation

Musical-in-a-Week Residency - Great River Educational Arts Theatre
The Residency program is designed for 5th graders to participate in a capstone project as part of their school day and learning curriculum in their final year of elementary school. Following the show-in-a-week model, GREAT teaching artists work with students Monday -Thursday, leading theatre exercises, auditions, and rehearsals. Through this activity, they are learning the art of theatre as well as life skills such as collaboration and leadership while building empathy and confidence. During the school day on Friday, students perform their show on-site for their classmates, families, and the greater community. This program takes place at school, eliminating the barriers for students to participate. The program not only provides the opportunity for every fifth-grade student in the school to be part of a collaborative production but also builds community and support for the arts.
